Information Collection And Use

STI collects information from our website users and customers. The data we collect is used to provide a better service to our customers.

User Data

When a customer fills out an online form or acquires our services, we collect information necessary to perform the service, such as name, phone, email, and certain resort unit information. Some of this data is entered into our database which is used by our internal staff. We do not store financially sensitive information (social security number, bank account number for example). If a service is purchased, we do store the last 4 digits of the user’s credit card to ensure we can match a customer to their internal records.

We use “cookies,” a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. We may note some of the pages the user visits on our site through the use of pixel tags (also called clear gifs). The use of cookies and pixels enables us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our sites.
